I am originally from Latvia. I immigrated to the United States with my family at the age of 8. I am Fluent in both English and Russian, I grew up in the San Fernando Valley, attending Heschel Day School, Cleveland Magnet High School, and eventually pursuing my undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
With a B.A. in psychology and global studies, I began my career as a behavior interventionist and later transitioned into tutoring, gaining valuable experience in both direct service and management roles. My journey led me to earn a Masters of Education Degree in Counseling, Clinical, & School Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
As a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP#: 3530) and Nationally Certified School Psychologist, I hold a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Psychology. My expertise encompasses diagnostic evaluations, counseling, social skills interventions, service coordination, behavior intervention, and collaborative advocacy and consultation.
I am dedicated to innovation in my field. I developed the Behavior Observation Made Easy and the ABC Observation Made Easy apps. These apps are designed to streamline data collection and analysis, saving time and allowing focus on what truly matters.
Beyond my private practice, I serve as a school psychologist for a public school, further enriching my understanding of educational systems and student needs.
My ultimate mission is to empower all learners to navigate challenges with confidence and succeed in their academic pursuits.
