About Me: I was born in Latvia and immigrated to the United States at the age of 8 with my family. I am bilingual in English and Russian. I grew up in the San Fernando valley and attended Heschel Day School, Cleveland Magnet High School, and University of California, Santa Barbara for my undergraduate and graduate studies.
After graduating with a B.A. in psychology and global studies, I worked as a behavior interventionist and with a tutoring company as a tutor and on the management side.
I received my Masters of Education Degree in Counseling, Clinical, & School Psychology from University of California, Santa Barbara.
I am a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP#: 3530), Nationally Certified School Psychologist, and carry a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Psychology.
I have extensive training in diagnostic evaluations, counseling and social skills interventions, coordination of services, behavior intervention, and with collaborative advocacy and consultation with schools.
I also created the Behavior Observation Made Easy and the ABC Observation Made Easy apps. These tools simplify data collection, improve data analysis, and are intended to save time, so my colleagues and I can focus on what is most important.
In addition to my private practice in West Los Angeles, I work as a school psychologist for a public school.
My ultimate goal is to help all learners feel empowered to cope effectively, take on challenges, and succeed in their academic endeavors!
